Sudden Valley
Bats moved in after a tree hit a Sudden Valley home
Heads up: these job stories may include photos of real pests and wildlife. Not for sensitive viewers.

A few winters ago a tree came down on this Sudden Valley home. The owners have been working through insurance on repairs ever since, but for a long time the damaged area wasn't sealed up well.
That was all the bats needed. They moved in through the openings, and by the time we got there there was a lot of droppings inside from the infestation. We did a full cleanup.
The view from the roof sure was worth the climb, with tall firs and Lake Whatcom down below.
The lesson: if your home gets damaged, nature can move in fast. Even if it costs a little extra, get it sealed up tight and fast so long repairs don't create brand-new problems.
