Signs you have ants

  • Ant trails along counters or baseboards
  • Piles of fine sawdust near wood (carpenter ants)
  • Winged ants inside in spring
  • Rustling sounds in walls

How Gavin solves it

  1. Identify the ant species
  2. Find the colony and how they're getting in
  3. Targeted treatment where it matters
  4. Prevention tips to keep them out

What to do until we arrive

  • Wipe up crumbs and sweet spills
  • Avoid spraying store-bought spray (it can scatter colonies)
  • Note where you see them most

Fix the moisture, fix the problem

Carpenter and moisture ants usually mean wet or rotting wood. Once the ants are gone, our sister company Carpet Care Cleaners can dry out and restore the water-damaged structure so they don't come back. Visit Carpet Care Cleaners

Questions

How do I know if I have carpenter ants or sugar ants?

Sugar ants are tiny (1/8") and march in trails toward food or moisture. Carpenter ants are much larger (up to 1/2"), often leave fine sawdust near wood, and hollow out framing.

Why didn't store-bought ant spray work?

Store sprays kill the workers you see, which can make the colony split into more nests inside your walls. We use non-repellent treatments that workers carry back to the colony and the queen.

Are your ant treatments safe for kids and pets?

Yes. We use targeted applications and low-toxicity baits placed in hiding spots and exterior perimeters, away from living spaces and pets.

When is the best time to treat ants in Bellingham?

Early spring (March to May) is ideal, when colonies first wake up and start foraging, but active indoor trails can be treated year-round.
