Orb weaver spider season in North Whatcom County

Fall is orb weaver season. Around this time of year they show up all over Whatcom County, spinning big webs across porches, eaves, decks and doorways. This one was hanging from a porch roof in North Whatcom County.

Orb weavers aren't dangerous, but walking face-first into their webs every morning gets old fast, and where there's one there are usually dozens.

Now is a great time to spray. We apply a targeted spider treatment around the foundation, eaves, and entry points that knocks them down quickly and keeps working, so a fall treatment helps cut down on spiders all year round.
