Five raccoons on camera, and a home sale saved, near the Lynden Fairgrounds
Heads up: these job stories may include photos of real pests and wildlife. Not for sensitive viewers.
Near the Lynden Fairgrounds, a homeowner getting ready to sell had a beautifully landscaped backyard, until raccoons moved in. They made a latrine in the yard, dug up the flowers, and left droppings everywhere. Not what you want buyers seeing on a showing.
The trail camera told the story: five raccoons in the frame at the same time, and one walking right into our live trap on camera.
With the raccoons trapped, the backyard was able to shine again when realtors showed the house. And the raccoon problem wasn't passed on to the next owners.
