Birds in the attic in Barkley: a loose vent screen
Heads up: these job stories may include photos of real pests and wildlife. Not for sensitive viewers.
Birds had moved into an attic in Bellingham's Barkley neighborhood. We quickly found the cause: the screening on the vent at the far end of the attic had come loose.
You can see the nest of hay they carried in, right on top of the insulation, along with a feather they left behind.
We scared the birds out first, then added new screening over the vent so they can't get back in.
