A baby skunk in a squirrel trap in Alderwood

We were catching both skunks and squirrels at a home in the Alderwood neighborhood of Bellingham. Then this baby skunk went into one of the squirrel traps. That was a first for me.
A small squirrel trap made safe removal a little trickier, since skunk traps are set up to handle them differently. I have systems in place for handling skunks safely so I don't get sprayed, and luckily this little guy never sprayed.
The adult skunks were caught too, in the right traps, so the whole family was taken care of along with the squirrels.
